Scientific basics

Within the framework of the scientific basic research the Saarbrücken
university was occupied in particular, there the Biological institute
under the management of Prof. Dr. Altman, of magnetic fields pulsating
with the exploration of the effect mechanism onto biological systems.
The biophysicist Dr. Ulrich Warnke (known through numerous
publications and scientific telecasts) is expert on this field of research.
Also the Saarbrücken university has an extensive literature collection
(about 6000 publications) on this field.

BIOLOGICAL MECHANISM OF ACTION
=============================
The body, parts of the body and tissue which are exposed to magnetic
lines of force are fully penetrated by these lines in linear direction.
In this process they meet sodium and potassium ions which are critical
to all cell functions. As carriers of electric charge they are influenced
by the magnetic lines of force. The result of this is a regulating change
of the electrical potential difference in the nucleus and membrane and a
resulting increased ion exchange. This process, also known as ion
dynamics, improves the processing of oxygen and the metabolism of
the cell and thereby leads to the therapeutic effect.

BIOLOGICAL MODE OF ACTION

Magnetic field therapy (MF therapy) involves pulsating electro-magnetic
fields of bw frequency. This method is used as a therapeutic measure in various areas.

SAFETY FOR THERAPIST AND PATIENT

As a special feature ALL our MF devices are equipped with an
electronic sensor which monitors the current flow through the MF
transmitter after the START key has been operated.
If no current flows through the MF transmitter, e.g. because the
connecting cable has not been plugged in, the output fuse is defective
or because of a cable break, the device will switch off automatically.

Mock treatments are ruled out!

MAGNETIC FIELD (MF) APPLICATORS
=============================

The MF applicators developed by LEINEWEBER ELECTRONICS are
made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP).
Therefore they reach highest safety in electrical isolation and heat
dissipation. The applicators are magnetically shielded towards the
'outside‘ so that the magnetic field will reach only the place of therapy
and not any neighbouring persons or equipment.

NOTES ON APPLICATION

Experience gained with MF therapy in the last 15 years has shown that
MF therapy should be carried out daily.
In individual cases symptoms may slightly increase between the first
and the fifth day of treatment. An improvement is normally felt not until
after the fifth treatment.
